About Me

My grandmother Maradel Whitley author of "Boy Oh Boy, Let's Eat" always harped on the importance of eating as a family.

I created byLessie during a very trying time in my life. I was lower than low, I told myself that I had to fix this feeling. From staying up to the wee hours of the morning, I started to bake. Like the late Betty Wright song goes, "You gotta do something with this Betty!" From there, byLessie grew. My child-hood name that only family and very few friends call me.
